About the Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Awards:
The Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Awards were created in 1975 to honor the work
of human services organizations and those volunteers and staff who go above and
beyond all expectations in their service to the community. It is named
after Audrey Robbins, a former Director of the Howard County Department of
Social Services. Through her professional and volunteer services, she
touched the lives of many, and her consistent interest in all of Howard County
was an inspiration to ACS in establishing this annual awards program.
